Properties​

style?​

optional style: StyleProp<ViewStyle>

Style applied to the player view container. Merged on top of the default container style (width: '100%', height: '100%', black background), so you can override sizing, aspect ratio or background as needed.

resizeMode?​

optional resizeMode: ResizeMode

Controls how the video is scaled within the view.

  • 'contain' — preserve aspect ratio; the entire video fits inside the view, possibly leaving letter/pillar boxes.
  • 'cover' — preserve aspect ratio; the video fills the view, possibly cropping parts that don't fit.
  • 'stretch' — ignore aspect ratio; the video fills the view entirely and may appear distorted.
